Lead (Senior Principal) Estimator

•           Excel & Word,

•           10 -15 years experience in petrochemical estimating minimum           

•           10 -15 years experience estimating for the petrochemical industry.

•           Supervisory and presentation skills

•           While work effort will not require development of mto’s or subcontract packages, an understanding of the work involved in doing this type of effort is beneficial. 

Work effort will involve leading a project estimating team in the development of all levels of estimates from conceptual to lump sum. Support of cost engineering with regards to establishment of control estimates, change/variation control and check estimates. Presentation of estimate to senior management.

Work effort does not involve mto take-off from engineering drawings but requires a sound knowledge of qty data, standard benchmarks and construction practices to allow assessment of the completeness of engineering developed bom’s and boq’s.
