Lead Technical HSE Engineer for FEED project based in Oman.Position based in our clients London office initially and then Oman. Candidates must possess the following

experience / skills: 

Minimum of 12 years design experience on multi-discipline projects within the hydrocarbon industry, with at least five years experience as a Lead HSE Engineer responsible for the quality of the output from HSE team.§ A thorough understanding of the specialist areas of the HSE discipline and of current technical developments relevant to the work of the discipline. § Competent in the application of one or more commercially available consequence modelling software tools. § A thorough understanding of current UK Acts, regulations, codes and standards applicable to the discipline. An excellent track record of delivering project HSE scope in terms of priorities, schedule requirements, as well as man-hours and costs.  A full range of effective communication skills, including  Persuasive language skills Presentation methods to maintain effective relations within the project teams and with clients. Effective and clear report writing Excellent time management skills.  Able to operate in a multi-racial and multi-cultural environment.
 

Qualifications    
 Degree Qualified, ideally in Chemical Engineering.§ Further qualifications, such as MSc Process Safety and Loss Prevention, are desirable.
 

Experience     
 Experience of sour gas processing is very desirable.  Previous overseas experience is desirable.
