Project Manager

Management of LS (EPC) projects between 20 and  40 mio € or EPCM project between 50.000 and 100,000 mhrs, could also be the PM for a basic engineering package

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manages 'Task Force' team consisting of Project Engineers, Lead Engineers, Buyers etc.
• Translates Client  requirements into project/business goals
• Translates market opportunities into project/ business opportunities
• Prepares, completes and manages high quality project execution plans
• Pro-actively manages the total project in particular the risks and opportunities in the various areas (people, execution, business etc.)
• Leads/ manages and aligns the various parties (internal and external), which directly or indirectly are involved in the project
• Manages/ meets financial Client targets (costs, profits, TIC, LCC etc.)
• Ensures that project execution fully complies with contractual commitments.
• Identifies, manages, mitigates/exploits Risks and Opportunities
• Pro-actively initiates/promotes a business/ commercial attitude on the project
• Develops, maintains and fosters internal and external relations
• Actively develops execution and business skills in the organisation as a whole and in individuals
• Potential sponsorship of other projects
• Contributes to organisational development

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

• TU, BSc, MSc Technical Discipline
• Minimum 5 years project management experience with primary responsibilty for large multidisciplinary projects in preferably the chemical and petrochemical industry
• Broad expertise and knowledge of the work processes and functions which make up a project
• Fluent in English
• Past experience of executing projects in Europe

Other Matters:

Frequent travel needed to visit sites, attend Client/Licensor meetings etc.
