Role & responsibilities

The role and responsibilities of the Project Control Manager shall include but not be limited to the following:

• Establish and maintain comprehensive planning, cost man-hour and resource management data to support the Project management team on one or more Projects. Incorporating the development of project WBS and OBS in agreement with the project management and client. Ensuring programmes are structured in-line with the WBS, standard work codes and PEM (Project Execution Module) guidelines
• Develop corporate Project delivery metrics and reports
• Liaising with the Project Manager, develop Risk and Opportunity register and implement Risk Management in accordance with the Company procedures.
• Ensure knowledge of the Project scope of work and all commercial/contract conditions involved. Also dealing with contractual and claims issues.
• Provide planning, progress measurement and cost control to assigned Projects/proposals
• Implement Scope Management and Change Control procedures
• Provide Project Control input to tenders and presentations to clients
• Actively promote the development and training of Project Control staff

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

·         Degree / HNC Qualified in an engineering subject.

·         A minimum of 10 years planning and cost engineering within the relevant industries would be preferred along with experience in engineering, procurement and construction at site as well as home location.

Additional Information: 

Mobility required for short term assignments or business trips across Europe and Internationally.
