Location Solent Duration Permanent Salary £Negotiable Roles & Responsibilities:
Coordination of the work of the inspectors, updating and preparation of the inspection files, typing and distribution of the inspection reports and coordinate all inspection activities associated with the various projects in the most economical manner.
The duties and responsibilities of the Inspector Coordinator shall include, but not be limited to, the following:
Coordination of work of the Inspectors
- Coordination of inspection work, preparation of files and distribution of inspection reports
- Ensure the smooth flow of information through close liaison with field inspectors, procurement department, technology groups and other departments
- To advise the Inspection Supervisor of all problems and queries requiring attention
- Processing of travel requests, expense reports, overtime requests, timesheets, invoices, holiday lists and records associated with the work of Inspection visits.
- Prepare and issue weekly inspection visit schedule
- Responsible for the consolidation of documents, in liaison with Document Control.
- Monitor material management requirements.
- Act as initial approval authority regarding outsourced inspection invoices.
- Liaise with expediting to expedite Notification of Request for Inspection (NORFI) form.
- Review Inspection expenditures
Qualifications, Skills & Experience Minimum 5 years working experience within engineering companies, preferably in a coordination role.
