Location Zoetermeer Duration Permanent Salary Negotiable Responsible for: Providing a quality assurance service to projects and to support the Manager of QA on specific quality improvement projects . Job Objectives: To ensure effective project quality arrangements are implemented throughout the project lifecycle (as applicable). To develop the Project Quality Plan and monitor its implementation and compliance during all project phases (as applicable). To ensure client specific project quality requirements are captured in relevant execution documents. To support and co-ordinate the implementation of PEM on the project. To apply monitoring, measurement and reporting techniques to improve quality during project execution. To ensure processes are in place to protect and secure the Clients Intellectual Property - while under the control of the Project Team. Working with process owners to assist in the development of local departmental work processes and procedures. To perform internal quality audits on projects and departments. To support the Manager of QA in developing proposal inputs and implementing continuous improvement projects (as required).
Role & Responsibilities: Project Quality Management System: Develop the Project Quality Plan and ensure client specific QA requirements are addressed. Ensure appropriate and up to date project standards and procedures are in place during the duration of the project. Ensure that Operating procedures are being used by the Project team. Maintain and Execute the Project Audit Schedule Execute audits on third party contractors and/or suppliers (as required). Follow up and report on status of Corrective Actions Provide support to Project Management to clear quality related action items. Provision of a monthly status report for . Manager of QA Review. Ensuring that procedures are in place to meet the agreed Intellectual Property responsibilities and verifying compliance through audit. Participating in the client satisfaction and reporting process.
Facilitating implementation of PEM: Providing general support, coaching and facilitating PEM awareness within the Project Team. Ensuring PEM documentation is in place prior to scheduled reviews. Scheduling and facilitating/chairing (if required) the agreed preparatory and formal gate review meetings (as required). Managing the logging, tracking and expediting of gate review action items. Auditing that PEM procedures are followed through the life of the project e.g. use of control object checklists on a daily basis. To ensure that Project PEM status is maintained and clearly communicated to the Project Team.
Continuous Improvement: Managing the process for defining critical quality indicators, collecting and reporting these parameters on a monthly basis to identify trends. Assist in conducting root cause analysis on areas identified through lesson learned exercises or Non Conformances. To ensure that maximum advantage is gained from the previous projects through lessons learned. Assisting in developing and delivering Project training/ induction programmes (as required).
Supporting Manager of QA with corporate quality and continuous improvement initiatives (as required): Developing and maintaining audit schedules. Internal quality audits of support departments. Involvement in Continuous improvement projects and maintenance of IT tools. Facilitating quality related workshops. LRQA Support and planning. Delivery of quality awareness presentations. Preparation of proposal inputs. Participating in the publishing and review of management system documents. Review and comment of company procedures.
Essential Qualifications and Experience Required: Degree / HNC Qualified in an engineering/technical subject. Good knowledge of management systems. Trained internal QMS auditor. Knowledge of PED ATEX and CDM requirements. Possess a good working knowledge of PEM. Possess good presentation skills and be able to market the benefits to all stakeholders. Experience of working on multi-disciplined projects. Possess good written and verbal communication skills. Possess good planning and organisational skills. Diplomatic, assertive & good negotiator / persuader. Detail oriented & with good analytical skills. Commercial awareness. Able to challenges complacency and poor performance.

Other Matters: Member of the Chartered Quality Institute (CQI) or working towards membership grade. In view of the international character of our business, candidates shall be flexible to perform activities in other countries as required. Worldwide mobility applies to business trips, short and long term assignments. This position requires fluency in both Dutch and English; knowledge of German would be valuable.
