POSITION DESCRIPTION

·          Day to day drive, organisation and technical execution of pre-commissioning and commissioning instrument activities in Yemen LNG.

·           Organising day to day loop testing, function testing and integrate these operations with other disciplines and construction turnover.

·          Managing a team of approx 60 instrument technicians and supervisors.

·          Managing defect resolution, punch list resolution QC records, and ensuring vendor and engineering information is correctly applied.

REQUIREMENTS

Sound knowledge of instrument commissioning in hydrocarbon environment. Preferably good knowledge of LNG plant Commissioning and Start Up. Must be able to manage a team of supervisors and approx 60 instrument technicians. Must have knowledge that spans loops testing through to complex loop testing and demonstration, control and safe guards testing and control loop tuning

Must have track record in leading instrument test team/department.
