Under general supervision, leads individuals engaged in and actively participates in the performance of procurement and administration activities associated with subcontracting work. Qualifies suppliers, issues requests for proposals, performs proposal evaluations, and maintains subcontract files in accordance with established procedures. Mentors less experienced staff. Job role contributes directly to value creation. Skills typically acquired through completion of an undergraduate degree in a Procurement and Materials related subject, Business Administration, Industrial Distribution, Quantity Surveying or similar discipline and 4 years of experience in Subcontracts / Procurement, which includes experience in field services, engineering or construction and negotiations. In lieu of a degree, 6 years of equivalent experience in Subcontracts Administration and Field Subcontracts Coordination is also acceptable.
