Renewable Energy & Efficiency Engineer
Requirements Candidates must possess the following knowledge: - Renewable energy technologies (ideally embedded generation) with waste-to-energy competence - Onsite energy survey including HVAC experience - Sustainable and efficient energy technologies and regulation - Carbon and energy management - Energy efficiency in commercial, public and industrial sectors - Energy management for a portfolio and at a single site Responsibilities The role will involve contributing to renewable energy Masterplans, feasibility studies and technology studies for specific programmes. The position may include working on energy efficiency programmes, (such as energy auditing), energy strategy and onsite recommendations, and will be mentored by members of the existing team who have considerable depth of expertise in the sector. A passion for delivering sustainable energy solutions is a key requirement of the role. The Individual Candidates must possess the following skills: - Effective client management and communication skills - Project management and team leadership - Technical aptitude in the appropriate discipline - Adaptability and market awareness - Innovative thinking - Commercial awareness and financial management skills - Clean driving licence - Flexible approach, able to prioritise and willing to undertake UK travel as required
