At present they are looking to fill a Diesel Power Plant Manager role in Saudi Arabia. An Ideal candidate should:
*Graduate / Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
*10-15 year of experience in Diesel Power Plant and Minimum of 5 years in senior position.
*Familiarity with MS Office applications and Use of PCs
*Good Communications, Financial, Technical & Computer skills.
*Ability to work independently and able to handle pressure situations.
*Positive attitude towards customer care and service.
Job description:
- Manage assigned contracts in Diesel power plants, in accordance with the Client's Services guidelines, the contract management process and general management practices in a safe and cost effective way, implementing preventive corrective actions as necessary.
- Customer Relations Management and customer satisfaction.
- Evaluate operations, maintenance and financial data: define plans for improvement in financial performance, make recommendations for capital expenditures to improve plant performance, enforce conformance to safety procedures along with policies and procedures.
- Responsible for all activities relating to daily O&M management at the power plant inclusive of planning and implementation of plant operations and maintenance.
- Identify and actively seek to improve operational and maintenance reliability and availability.

Responsibilities:
- Report to Area Contract Manager.
- Develop the O&M working routines at the Plant.
- Administration and training of skilled and motivated O&M personnel to assure good teamwork.
- Communicate effectively with the plant team relative to the condition of the plant equipment and performance and to provide suggestions for improvement.
- prepare and review reports as specified by the contract and contract management process.
- Recommend changes in plant operating procedures.
- Develop the O&M working routines.
- Prepare annual budget.
- Make contract annual and long term plan and the contract lifetime stock planning.
- Responsible for profit and loss of the contract, manage Assets of the plant, and development of competent O&M resources and employee satisfaction
- Implement quality initiatives at the assigned contract
